A sky blue golf course wedding in Ottawa
Her bridesmaids’ sky-blue dresses were hung neatly beside her own tulle ballgown; her jewellery was cleaned and set aside; her finishing touches were just being done on her hair and makeup; AND she was completely ready within minutes of me entering the room…
You guys, this is rare!…Not all brides get to this point of relaxation, and that just goes to show how detailed and organized Lauren really is!
After a quick visit to Tom’s groom prep room upstairs at the Brookstreet Hotel, we were ready to start the first looks – yes, there were two first looks that day!! First, with Lauren’s dad, as he saw his little girl as a bride for the first time; followed by a short walk down the golf course to see Tom. Ohh, these moments melt my heart!
Tom and Lauren’s Marshes Golf Club wedding took place on one of the sunniest Spring days of the year. It was the first time all season that I remember having to jump in the shade to keep cool, and the day could not have been more picture perfect!
