The table was layered with frosted cupcakes, slices of fresh watermelon, and bite-sized macaroons; a party where no detail was overlooked and no guest went unspoiled. As Jamie made her way downstairs to the party, she was greeted by the smiling faces of her family and closest friends who had gathered to celebrate her bridal shower. Today marked 4-weeks until her wedding day, and those closest to her showered her with gifts and hugs in celebration for that approaching day.
When Jamie and Jon asked me to photograph their bridal shower this past weekend, I knew it would be incredible. With her impeccable style and an eye for fashion, I knew Jamie’s bridal shower would be straight from the pages of a magazine. From the moment I stepped in the door I was greeted by the warmth of those at the party, and knew it would be nothing short of amazing.

Jamie comes from such a loving family; they made me feel welcomed with open arms.

Mimosa bar, anyone?

Let’s take a minute to admire the signage posted throughout the room; all designed + styled by Shannon from House of Morris.

A toast, to this fabulous bridal party!

The table was lined with treats from Art is in Bakery, + The Cupcake Lounge.

And those letter balloons by Cody Party…beyond!

As guests came to leave, they were all given a party favour of mint + coconut sugar scrubs (‘Mint to be’…)! A fabulous end to an incredible celebration.

Jamie, friends, and dearest family members: thank you for inviting me to be a part of this moment with you. It was a joy to spend time with you before the wedding + I absolutely can’t wait to see you again in four short weeks!
Warmly, A.
