Last week I was invited to a blush floral bridal shower for one of my dear 2018 brides!
You might remember Britt and Evan from their Waterfront Engagement Photos on a Private Island, where we boated to a private island and watched the sun set over Big Gull lake. Well this month they’re finally tying the knot!! And I say finally because this is a day we’ve been counting down to for years!! Literally!! :)
Brittney is one of the most organized people I know, and she was the first bride to book one of my 2018 Wedding Collections wayyy back in the Fall of 2016. I had first met her a few months earlier at her sister’s Otter Lake Wedding, and I mean it when I say these two became my instant friends. From the first days I met Britt and Ashley, they have always been such a beautiful spark in my life and I feel so blessed to have been invited to photograph both of their weddings. Can somebody pinch me?? I have the BEST clients!!
Ashley and the bridemaids didn’t miss a detail with this blush floral bridal shower. With custom decorations like a fruity mimosa bar, custom cookies from Sugar Sugar Ottawa, and fresh pink carnations, it was a dream shower for this lovely bride-to-be!
Would you believe it..there were THREE #AmyPinderBrides at this shower (love you ladies dearly!!)!! I feel SO lucky to get to see these ladies year after year at different showers and weddings!
Tell me I’m not the only one who left this shower on a sugar high!! There were so many sweets, finger foods, and tasty beverages – and then we all took home custom Sugar Sugar Ottawa cookies as favours too!!
This has to be one of my favourite ideas from a shower, ever!!…
“Help the Bride-to-be, Make yourself the addressee”!!
In other words, write your own names and addresses on the envelopes so the Bride doesn’t spend hours tracking down your details!! SO Brilliant!
The wedding day is almost here!!! Less than a month until I get to see so many of these beautiful women celebrating the love of two very special people!! Britt, girl!! You are such a beautiful person in every way. Your day is one I have been looking forward to for years (you are SUCH a planner and I love it!!!) and I can’t wait to celebrate with you and Evan at Stonefields in just a couple weeks time!! Wooo!!!
