Sunset maternity photos at the beach in Aylmer Marina
It’s hard to believe that when I met up with Charlie and her family for her Aylmer Marina maternity photos that this would be the first time I’d seen her in over a year! There was a time when I used to see Charlie every few weeks at our monthly Tuesdays Together meetings (a group aimed at encouraging creative entrepreneurs to support one another through ‘community over competition’), but that – along with everything else – had to move online this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was also the first time I’d be meeting her first born (who’s a toddler now!!) and it was super fun exploring the beach at Aylmer Marina for these maternity photos with this soon-to-be family of 4!
Knowing that Charlie and her husband are also photographers in the Ottawa-Gatineau region meant that we both had an appreciation for beautiful light, and specifically, that golden glow you get just before sunset. Tho the gorgeous summer weather made the beach super crowded, I’m loving that these images make it look like Charlie and her family had the whole shoreline to themselves for their beachfront maternity photos!
