Playful Ottawa engagement photos at Petrie Island
Nothing beats an engagement session on a beach, except for maybe a beach engagement session, at sunset, with a couple as playful and fun as Christie and Trevor!
This engagement session was actually the first time I’d met up with Christie and Trevor in person (umm, with the exception of the most random chance encounter with them in the parking lot of Britannia Beach this summer!), so it was hard to know what they might be like behind my camera…but I had a feeling that these two were going to be super fun and up for anything! And boy, was I right! I knew as soon as Christie asked that we finish off their session with pictures of them splashing in the water that we’d be in for a heck of a fun time! So fun in fact, that I almost forgot that I was 37 weeks pregnant! But this baby’s been good to me, and it was actually so nice to have one last excuse to get out on the beach at sunset with my camera. This officially marks my final shoot of the season (and last session before going on maternity leave!) and I’m over-the-moon with how these turned out!
