A Traditional Catholic Ceremony Wedding in Ottawa

TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC WEDDING WITH PURPLE BRIDESMAIDS' DRESSES

There’s a photo of them when they were 3 years old, sitting side by side on a soccer field: a freckly redheaded boy and an outgoing little girl. Though they had technically met as children, their love story doesn’t begin until 15 years later when they were both lifeguarding at the same pool in Kanata! Last weekend, these two officially tied the knot in a traditional catholic ceremony in Ottawa, followed by their reception at NeXT restaurant!

Some of my favourite memories from their day were: toasting with Starbucks during bride prep (before champagne…right ladies!); deep fried cheese curds as an appetizer at dinner; the entire room of guests singing ‘Friends in Low Places’, to get Alisha and Matt to kiss; and the choreographed first dance, with the most unbelievable dip at the end!! A day of perfection, for the perfect couple.

Join me in congratulating the newlyweds!!
