Dog-friendly Stonefields Estate wedding venue with pops of magenta

Katie and Alex’s Stonefields Estate wedding is a day that I’ve been looking forward to for so long! When Katie first reached out to me to tell me of her engagement and to ask if I was available to be her wedding photographer, I dropped everything I was doing and ran straight to my calendar to check! I actually met Katie a few years back at Alisha and Matt‘s wedding and have kept in touch with her through social media ever since that day – in fact, I consider her to be one of my earliest supporters as I met her so early on in my wedding photography career. Her group of friends are actually some of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure to meet through my experience as an Ottawa wedding photographer and I couldn’t have had a better day with them at Stonefields!

Speaking of Stonefields…did you know that they’re one of Ottawa’s top dog friendly wedding venues? It’s true! I would say almost half of my couples who have chosen to get married at Stonefields have actually had their dogs come along for some of the day! I love that! And how cool that Katie and Alex’s dog – Dexter – was able to join us for portraits right after their first look!

I loved every minute of Katie and Alex’s wedding at Stonfields Estate! While looking through these pictures don’t forget to keep an eye out for the little doggie cake topper who tried to steal a bite of wedding cake (probably my favourite detail of the whole day – hehe)! Enjoy!
