The sun was shining, boats were sailing, and the wind brought a warm breeze up to the shores of the Britannia Yacht Club. Daron and Mark’s Britannia Yacht Club wedding was one of the warmest and sunniest Fall weekends of the year.
Though the club (and surrounding area of Britannia) had been hit hard a few days earlier by ‘downburst winds’ that reached up to 160km/h (can you even believe that??!), the venue itself was in great shape! The evidence of the storm can be seen in the background of some of these photos, with tree limbs missing from some of the largest and oldest trees.
Daron and Mark’s wedding day at Britannia is one that I will remember fondly, as a day full of surprises like Suzy Q donuts as dessert, and mini gold dinosaurs as table ornaments at the reception. Sharing these photos from their Britannia Yacht Club wedding brings back so many happy memories of this perfect day by the water! Enjoy! x
Daron and Mark chose to see each other for the first time that day in a private ‘first look’ moment, at the Britannia Yacht Club.

Knowing Daron and Mark, it was clear they’d have some pretty fun reception decor! Gold spray painted dinosaurs next to classic dried lavender was so adorably them!
