he took one of her father’s hands in hers and stepped out onto the dance floor. The crowd quieted as Bob Carlisle sang of years gone by and of the love shared between a father and his daughter. Such a sombre and tranquil song, guests watched lovingly as they swept the floor; that is until the song skipped a beat…Jessica let go of her father’s hand, and they each parted to opposite sides of the dance floor. What happened next was unexpected by all, but was soon the perfect expression of the love shared between a father and his daughter.
Trevor and Jessica, I couldn’t be happier that you found true soulmates in one another. I know your guests must still be talking about how incredible your day was, and we are all better people for having met you. Thank you for allowing me to document your first day as husband and wife and I wish you a world of happiness. Much love, A.

Upstairs, Trevor and his groomsmen prepared for the day in a stately hotel room.

Good men are often raised by incredible parents. Trevor was no exception.

Gifts of appreciation…

A little ways down the hall, Jessica and her bridesmaid laughed over inside jokes and toasted to new beginnings over pink champagne.

That ring! Trevor…you can do no wrong!

Despite promising not to exchange gifts on the day of their wedding, Trevor couldn’t resist. He must have known how happy it would make her to open this heart pendant bracelet from Tiffany’s.

More gifts!

Supportive, intelligent, entertaining, and beautiful: these bridesmaid have it all!

They ooh’d and ahh’d as Jessica stepped into her strapless wedding dress from Ami-Fer in Montreal.

Smiling through every moment.

Jessica’s parents were always nearby with a song or words of encouragement to make sure their daughter’s day was everything it could be. I can still hear them now:
‘Going to the chapel and we’re, gonna get ma-aa-aaa-ried…’

A father’s first look with his daughter is always one of my favourite moments on a wedding day.

Over at Saint Patrick’s Basilica, guests were escorted to their seats and waited for the bride to make her appearance.

The traditional Bridal March echoed through the walls of the church as Jessica and her father made their long walk down the aisle.

This moment. It’s everything.

Their ceremony was traditionally Catholic, with the lighting of the unity candle, readings from the bible, holy communion and the exchanging of vows.

The beauty of Saint Patrick’s basilica is unparalleled.

As a symbol of their love and fidelity.

The newlyweds!

Straight after the ceremony, we gathered on the steps of St. Patrick’s Basilica for a group photo.

Friend and family – both present and in spirit – helped make Jess and Trevor’s wedding day incredible.

After a quick limo drive, it was time for bridal party photos in Major Hill’s Park.

They don’t call it a wedding party for nothing!

Ohhh, that light!

Enjoying the last few minutes of sunset before heading in for the reception.

Inside the Chateau Laurier, Delightfully Bustled worked their magic to keep everything on time and looking fabulous for the reception. Deb, I have so much appreciation for your talents as a wedding coordinator.

A candybar was set up for guests to enjoy as favours.

The incredible true story of how Jessica and Trevor first met was the topic of many talks that night.

Childhood friends always give the best speeches…

…but it’s always the parents who tell the best embarrassing stories ;)

Another beautiful wedding cake by Serendipity Cakes!

A perfect first dance. ‘You are so beautiful…tonight.’

The crowd looked on in deep affection for the father-daughter dance.

…but soon had us all clapping along and cheering as the songs changed to billboard chart-toppers and pop culture classics.

The rest of the night was spent twisting…

…swinging…

…twirling…

…and non-stop celebrating.

Thank you to all the vendors who helped make this wedding such a success!
