A downtown engagement session in the Fall
hey were enjoying their holiday together alone in Maine, when Brendan got down on one knee. They stood by the ocean and – with sand beneath their feet – toasted with champagne to a future together as husband and wife. Now, most people these days would then take to social media and announce their good news to the world right way – but these two aren’t ‘most people’. They decided to wait…With a diamond ring shining brightly on her left hand, they kept the news to themselves and revelled in their happiness for a couple more days alone in Maine.
It wasn’t until they crossed the border – back in to Canada – that they decided to break the exciting news. They pulled over to the side of the road almost instantly after crossing, and soon had a flood of messages from friends and family with notes of celebration and good wishes!
We celebrated Lindsay and Brendan’s Fall engagement session in the Byward Market and Major’s Hill Park. We were lucky to have the changing leaves at their prime and a sunny day to celebrate their engagement! Enjoy as you tour downtown Ottawa with us! x
Next, we took a walk down to the Byward Market, where vendors were selling pumpkins, gourds, and other Fall goodies. The light was great and the company was even better.
Lindsay and Brendan! Thank you for choosing such a gorgeous Fall day for your Byward Market engagement session! Our city is beautiful this time of year and I’m thankful to have explored it with such fun-loving people! Looking forward to celebrating the real deal with you guys next Fall!!! It can’t come soon enough! – Amy, x
