Fall Wedding Photos at Ottawa Mill Street Brew Pub

Justine and Dom’s Fall Wedding Photos at Ottawa Mill Street Brew Pub are complete with vibrant fall colours, non-stop smiles, and the most talented families!

And I’m serious about the talent thing!! Everywhere we turned, there was a handmade piece of decor or someone serenading us with their talents!!

…Like the invitation suite for example…every piece of that suite was fully designed by Dom himself, right down to the ‘song request’ cassette card included in each invitation (a personal favourite!!), which I of course included in this sneak peek!!

And then there was the singing at bride prep!!…With Justine’s dad on the piano and her sister on vocals, the whole house was filled with Disney melodies and tunes that you couldn’t help but sing along to!

These creative details continued throughout their wedding at the Ottawa Mill Street Brew Pub: from a custom ceremony backdrop, to hand written pub signs, to singing during the ceremony, and a homemade seating chart for the reception!

With the rain holding off, Justine and Dom got to have their ‘first look’ in the backyard, just like they’d hoped!!

I heard about plans for this wooden ceremony backdrop from the very first time I met Justine and Dom! Though that feels like ages ago, seeing the backdrop put together also makes me realize how fast this year has flown by!!

With the rain still holding off, we slipped outside for a few family photos and ‘just married portraits’ while guests enjoyed live music at cocktail hour.

There were so many handmade touches to Justine and Dom’s wedding decor, including these handmade wooden cake toppers – made by the bride’s mum (thanks Nathalie)!!!

An open bar, appetizers, and a live band – the perfect combo for cocktail hour at the Ottawa Mill Street Pub!

Like most venues nowadays, there were rules against the ‘clinking of the glasses’ in order to make Dom and Justine kiss…Now, usually kissing games start off strong but fizzle as the night goes on…but not this crowd! The rest of the night was filled with toasts, singing between every course, and a packed dance floor!!

Dom, Justine! I still can’t believe how crazy talented you and your families are! From your homemade invitation suite, to the piano performances at bride prep, to Ariane’s singing during the ceremony, and right down to the DIY decor spaced throughout the Ottawa Mill Street Pub. We were treated so wonderfully by all your family and guests on your wedding day and I couldn’t be more grateful!! Thank you all for being the joyful people that you are and for the incredible gift of your friendship!!
