Justin and Kare celebrated their vows in an outdoor wedding at Cumberland Heritage Museum!
This was a wedding day full of ‘first looks’: a first look with Kare’s bridesmaids; a daddy-daughter first look; and then a sweet moment between Justin and Kare before the ceremony. There are so many reasons to have a first look, but the emotion behind those moments is always my favourite. The freedom to react naturally, to take the time to talk/hug/twirst and to be present in the moment is always a beautiful thing to witness and photograph!
Some of my favourite memories from Justin and Kare’s wedding day were the candid kiss they snuck in at the end of the aisle; the jam wedding favours for guests to take home; and the multicoloured bridesmaids dresses that seemed to pair perfectly together despite the different styles and colours!
Enjoy this sneak peak from Justin and Kare’s outdoor wedding at Cumberland Heritage Museum!!

This next photo is so much more than a cross on a clothesline…it’s prayers for good weather and a heartfelt reminder of family.

A wedding day full of first looks!! The bridesmaids got one too!!…

How sweet is this daddy-daughter first look!!…

Justin and Kare’s house is full of rustic details, light coloured walls and bright windows!…i.e. the perfect location for Groom Prep!

And finally, the most anticipated first look of the day…

If you’ve ever been to the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum, you know it’s full of rustic charm and acres of historical buildings! Justin and Kare exchanged their vows on the tree-lined road in the heart of the museum.

Possibly my favourite photo of the day…100% candid; 100% bliss:

With the clouds rolling in and out all day, sunset photos were looking pretty grim…and then – all of a sudden – the light was perfect!! Let’s finish this post with some beautiful light and an even more beautiful couple!

Justin, Kare: thank you for inviting us to your dream wedding at the Cumberland Heritage Museum!! I always look forward the time we spend together and we had the best day at your wedding! From our initial meeting, to your rustic engagement session, and our chats in between, you’ve always been such genuinely kind and joyful people. Thank you for making every guest at your wedding feel so welcomed and for the favours at the end of the night (PS. I had jam on toast for breakfast this morning and totally thought of you!!)
With love.
xo, A.
