When it comes to wedding decor, there are few things I love more than the Stonefields Loft decorated with hundreds of blooms!!
The Stonefields Loft is a space that’s naturally beautiful; I’m always hearing from brides about how this renovated barn in Ottawa is just so naturally beautiful (which is true!) that it needs almost no decor to spruce it up. While I agree that the space is beautiful (duh!) I’m always blown away by the transformation from simple additions like white drapery from Wedecor and colourful blooms spaced throughout the room.
In this case – for Carley and Dylan’s wedding – the flowers were spectacular!! Hundreds of blooms filled the room: from the guest tables, to the wedding cake, to a custom floral frame that hung over the head table. The florals and drapery transformed the space and brought a light and airy feel to the modern loft.

The guys got ready in the building right across (literally) from bride prep. I’m always so proud that there’s no peaking out of the windows!
The ceremony space was decorated with – you guessed it – the most beautiful blooms; both down the aisle and on the homemade hexagonal ceremony arch!
Lavender confetti is my new favourite thing!!
And now we come to the Stonefields Loft with all it’s blooms and soft drapery, which just about took my breath away!!
Someone started a rumour that these donuts from Healthy Food Technologies Inc. are actually good for you…no wonder they disappeared so quickly…
Carley, Dylan: I will never again be able to smell lavender and not think of that incredible moment of you two walking down the aisle as husband and wife!! I feel so grateful for every moment we spent together on your wedding day and for the friends and family who made us feel so welcomed! I also think both of you are undercover models (seriously, no more secrets, you can tell me now…!!) so I’m sure I’ll be spotting you in a magazine any day now ;) Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for being the loving, thoughtful, and joyful people that you are. Never stop looking at each other the way you do and keep on spreading that love to the people around you. You’re amazing and I’m so grateful to have been your wedding photographer!!

Where do I start? I have seen many wedding pictures in the past few years. My own daughter got married last summer, her wedding pictures were beautiful, however, nothing like these pictures. These pictures are amazing, so many beautiful ones I would not know which one to pick if I had to. The bride was a real beauty, not to forget the mother of the bride.
