Winter Cedarhill Golf Course Wedding

Bright and light Winter cedarhill golf course wedding by Amy Pinder Photography

When I walked in to bride prep on the morning of Sam and Taylor’s wedding, I was struck by the love in the house: friends Sam had known since elementary school; people who had crossed oceans to be there; and family, who had been with her throughout wedding planning to make sure the day was perfect!!

The girls enjoyed the morning at Sam’s childhood home, where they dressed in matching plaid shirts and toasted with champagne in celebration of the day ahead. They hired mobile hair and makeup artists from Ottawa to help with their look, and soon changed in to bridesmaids dresses of different colours and styles, and in to one of the prettiest Essence of Australia wedding gowns from Sinder’s Bridal.

Our next stop was the Museum of Nature for wedding portraits, where Sam and Taylor saw each other for the first time that day!! Their bridesmaids carried flower-strewn lanterns, while the groomsmen looked sharp in their light grey suits. Family watched from the staircase in the Queens Lantern as these two walked towards each other, and towards a future as husband and wife.

This is one for the books, and I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of their Winter Cedarhill Golf Course wedding!! x

While the weather was surprisingly warm for early December, we decided to take all of their portraits at the Museum of Nature. It was here that Taylor saw Sam for the first time in her wedding dress, while friends and family watched quietly from the staircase in the Queen’s Lantern.
