Time for a flashback to student life with these Carleton University Engagement Photos!!
Aniko and Tom met through mutual friends while studying at Carleton University, so it was the perfect place to return to for their sunset engagement photos! As we toured around campus in search for great light, Aniko kept saying how surreal it felt to be back on school property again!! I’ve had this same feeling while walking around the University of Guelph campus and it’s a bittersweet feeling to know that that chapter of our lives is over.
But let’s save the mushy sentimental feelings from the past and focus on the future – like Aniko and Tom’s upcoming wedding at The Museum of Nature!! They’ll be married this Fall in the breathtaking St. Patrick’s Basilica followed by a reception at the Museum – i.e. some of the most beautiful venues in Ottawa!!
I’m counting down the days ’till I see these two again!! In the meantime, here’s a glimpse into their Carleton University engagement photos!!
Aniko mentioned she was nervous about getting her picture taken, and then pulled this out within the first minute of the session!! To say they were natural at this is an understatement!
Frame-worthy!! And that light!! Can’t get enough!!
With the Rideau Canal being only walking distance away, Carleton University must be one of the prettiest campuses in Ontario!! To finish off their engagement photos, we took a detour to the Locks and walked along the waterway.
When you have a knee surgery scheduled for next week, you’ve got tough decisions to make: 1) reschedule your engagement session…or 2) piggy back rides between locations…
Aniko!! Tom!! You are two of the happiest people I know and I think part of that comes from having found each other. Your wedding is one that I’m really looking forward to and I already know we’ll be laughing and smiling right along with you both all day!! I feel so lucky to have met you through Deb and Chuck’s Mill Street Winter Wedding, and I can’t wait for the celebrations to come!!
