These Temples Sugar Bush wedding pictures with Alyssa and Jon bring back so many incredible memories from their wedding day!! First (and absolutely most importantly) were the people who brought this day to life and helped support Alyssa and Jon through this magical day at Temples! Their wedding party specifically were all so sweet and helpful (even whipping out the power tools from the back of their truck to fix a broken boutonniere – now there’s a first!!!), and the importance of family was such a key theme to their day…from having family members in the bridal party, to emotional parent dances (that even made their vendors cry!!), to one of the sweetest sentiments to grandparents I’ve ever seen. I don’t always post photos on the blog of the couple signing their marriage licence (which is usually more legal than lovey-dovey), but when I do it’s because it’s a moment that I absolutely adored (which, again, when it comes to singing the registry…is rare)! In this case, Alyssa and Jon actually asked their grandparents to come up and sign as witnesses, which I thought was just the sweetest and most thoughtful gesture to recognize these important people in their lives. Definitely one of my favourite parts of their entire day and such a beautiful way to honour family.

I also loved their location for bride and groom prep, at Clyde Hall, which was just a short drive away from Temples. I love that they chose to do their first look in front of the historic stone mansion of Clyde Hall, and that moment itself of Jon seeing Alyssa as a bride for the first time is actually one of my favourite first look moments ever! The ceremony itself took place in the woods at Temples Sugar Bush and the reception happened inside the main lodge, with dancing to follow with a live band (remember those????) after dinner. I loved every minute of this wedding, and I’m still savouring the maple syrup favours they gifted to their guests (which is such a brilliant idea for a sugar bush wedding)!!
