Looking back through Sheridan and Logan’s ALE wedding pictures at Amberwood Golf Club makes me so happy! They truly bring me back to some of my happiest memories from this summer and I’m reminded of how emotional and wonderful the day was for everyone there. If I’m being honest, I don’t usually cry on wedding days…I can usually keep it together…but I actually balled while witnessing Logan’s reaction to seeing Sheridan for the first time at their first look…and then again for their ceremony too! Maybe it just caught me off guard (Sheridan even told me she wasn’t sure how he’d react!) or maybe it’s my 8-month pregnancy hormones (hmm…also likely!) but either way, it was a moment I’ll never forget and one that I just can’t do justice by explaining to you (you’ll have to look through this blog post to see for yourself)!

Sheridan and Logan’s wedding day began at the Brookstreet Hotel where they got ready and did their first look, followed by a quick drive to Stittsville where they got married on the golf course at Amberwood Golf Club. I actually grew up in Amberwood Village (quite literally 2-minutes down the road) and I spent many hot summer days of my childhood swimming in the pool as a guest at the golf club! These days tho, it’s the ALE restaurant menu that keeps us going back regularly for visits to the golf course. Their vegan menu specifically makes ALE one of my favourite restaurants in all of Ottawa (anyone else obsessed with the vegan Fish ‘N Chips??)!! I’m dying for the day where we get to be a part of a fully vegan wedding at Ale (which is apparently a service they offer – calling all vegan brides!). Anyways, I digress! The food at Ale is incredible and as always, we felt so taken care of by the staff at the venue, to the point where I even saw guests taking selfies with the bartenders (haha)! It really felt like an intimate wedding, with great food, great staff, and amazing friends and family!
